Mission Statement

We make a difference for children and families by facilitating the development of communities of care. Through our work with States and Territories, we seek to enhance the development of interagency systems of care and support for families with very young children.

We place an emphasis on the cultivation of systems within the various communities that families would naturally participate in, resulting in the coordination and effective utilization of a variety of resources, supports and services.

As such, our work spans the public and private sectors and involves entities supporting families and children birth to age 8 in the areas of education, social and human services, health and medical services, mental health and prevention.
